Instantly alternatives at a glance
The Instantly alternatives that fit a founder or a sales team of one to ten best are Smartlead (from $32 a month billed annually), Saleshandy (from $34, lead credits included), lemlist (from $55, with LinkedIn and calls on Multichannel), Woodpecker (priced by prospects contacted) and La Growth Machine (LinkedIn first). GTM Flow puts sequences inside the CRM, in early access.
A note on transparency. This comparison is written by the GTM Flow team, and GTM Flow is one of the options on the list. We have tried to be fair to all of them, Instantly included. Prices are the public list prices from each vendor's pricing page, checked on 14 October 2026, with their currency and billing period, and every source is linked at the end.
- For a sender like Instantly, priced by volume: Smartlead.
- For lead-finder credits included in the plan: Saleshandy.
- For email, LinkedIn steps and calls in one sequence: lemlist Multichannel.
- To pay by prospects contacted instead of by plan: Woodpecker.
- When LinkedIn is the main channel: La Growth Machine.
- For sequences, replies and pipeline in the same place: GTM Flow, in early access.
- Stay on Instantly if sending volume is your only problem and your CRM already works.
Why look for an Instantly alternative
Instantly is a strong email sender: its outreach plans include unlimited email accounts and unlimited warm-up, from $37.6 a month billed annually. Teams look elsewhere when the cap that matters is uploaded contacts, when they want lead data without buying separate credits, or when replies need to end up in a CRM pipeline rather than in another inbox.
Start with what Instantly does well. Its pricing page lists unlimited email accounts and unlimited warm-up on every outreach plan, which is why many teams pick it to send from several domains at once. The outreach plans are priced by uploaded contacts and emails a month, and the lead database is sold separately as credits.
| Instantly outreach plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually (per month) | Uploaded contacts | Emails a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | $47 | $37.6 | 1,000 | 5,000 |
| Hypergrowth | $97 | $77.6 | 25,000 | 100,000 |
| Light Speed | $358 | $286.3 | 100,000 | 500,000 |
- Contacts, not senders, set the price. Growth covers 1,000 uploaded contacts; the next step is Hypergrowth at $97 a month.
- Data is a second bill. The B2B lead database comes with credits, priced apart from the outreach plan.
- Replies need a home. A sender tells you who answered; turning that answer into an opportunity, a call and a follow-up happens in your CRM. If the two are separate tools, someone copies data between them.
If you send at high volume and already have a CRM that your team keeps up to date, staying on Instantly is reasonable. Before you switch, read our guide to B2B cold email: most deliverability problems come from domains and lists, and they follow you to any tool.
How to choose an Instantly alternative
To choose an Instantly alternative, a founder or a small team should check five things: what the price is tied to (users, contacts, emails or prospects contacted), whether warm-up is included or limited, whether lead data costs extra, which channels beyond email come in the plan, and where replies go once they arrive.
- What drives the price. Instantly and Smartlead charge by contacts and emails, lemlist by user, Woodpecker by prospects contacted, and La Growth Machine by identity. Work out your number with next quarter's volume, not today's.
- Warm-up. Instantly, Saleshandy and lemlist include it on their plans; Woodpecker includes four warm-ups and charges for more.
- Lead data. Saleshandy includes lead-finder credits; Instantly and lemlist sell them as add-ons; Woodpecker includes 100 Lead Finder credits.
- Channels beyond email. If LinkedIn or calls belong in the same sequence, look at lemlist Multichannel or La Growth Machine.
- Where replies end up. A reply that never reaches the opportunity is a lead lost. If that is your problem, see how sequences work inside a CRM.

A cold email tool or a CRM with prospecting built in?
A cold email tool sends well and tells you who replied; a CRM with prospecting built in also turns that reply into the next step on the opportunity. If you send tens of thousands of emails a month, keep a dedicated sender. If you are a small team losing replies between tools, put sequences inside the CRM.
Most small teams end up with a stack like this: a sender such as Instantly, a CRM such as Pipedrive or HubSpot, a LinkedIn tool, a phone and a spreadsheet to glue it all. Every reply has to be copied from the sender to the CRM, and the context of the conversation stays behind. Our comparison of B2B prospecting tools explains what each category does.
- Keep a dedicated sender if volume is the job: many domains, many mailboxes, tens of thousands of emails a month.
- Move sequences into the CRM if the job is closing: few accounts, several channels, and every reply has to become a call, a task or an opportunity.
- In GTM Flow the sequence, the reply and the opportunity share one record, and AI agents act on every reply. It is in early access; see the planned pricing.
Which Instantly alternative to choose, by use case
The right Instantly alternative depends on what you are short of. If it is volume at a lower entry price, Smartlead. If it is lead data, Saleshandy. If it is LinkedIn and calls in the sequence, lemlist Multichannel or La Growth Machine. If it is paying only for who you contact, Woodpecker. If it is replies reaching the pipeline, GTM Flow.
- Stay on Instantly if sending volume is your bottleneck and your CRM already captures every reply.
- Smartlead if you want a similar sender with a lower entry price and client workspaces.
- Saleshandy if lead-finder credits in the same subscription save you a data tool.
- lemlist if email, LinkedIn steps and calls belong in one sequence and you pay per user.
- Woodpecker if you send in bursts and prefer paying by prospects contacted.
- La Growth Machine if LinkedIn is where your conversations start.
- GTM Flow if you want sequences, replies and the pipeline in one system with AI on top. You cannot buy it today: join the GTM Flow waitlist and we will get in touch in sign-up order.
Whichever you pick, set up the domains, authentication and unsubscribes before you send: the requirements from Google and Yahoo apply to every tool. And if your team is outgrowing its CRM too, our Pipedrive alternatives comparison and the full comparison page cover that side.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Instantly?
It depends on what you are missing. For a similar sender with a lower entry price, Smartlead ($32 a month billed annually). For lead data included, Saleshandy ($34). For LinkedIn steps and calls in the same sequence, lemlist Multichannel ($87 billed annually). For paying by prospects contacted, Woodpecker. If replies need to reach the pipeline, a CRM with prospecting built in such as GTM Flow, which is in early access.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Instantly?
On entry price, Smartlead Base costs $32 a month billed annually and Saleshandy Starter $34, against $37.6 for Instantly Growth, all checked on 14 October 2026. The cheaper tool depends on your volume: compare what each plan caps, contacts, emails or prospects contacted, at the volume you expect next quarter, and add any credits or mailboxes you would buy on top.
Which Instantly alternative includes LinkedIn?
lemlist Multichannel adds LinkedIn steps, SMS and a built-in dialer to email. La Growth Machine is built around LinkedIn and email from its Basic plan. Woodpecker connects LinkedIn accounts as an add-on at $29 a month each. GTM Flow has LinkedIn steps with per-profile limits inside its sequences, next to email, WhatsApp and calls, and is in early access.
Does Instantly include email warm-up?
Yes. Instantly's pricing page lists unlimited warm-up and unlimited email accounts on its outreach plans, as of 14 October 2026. Saleshandy also lists unlimited warm-up on every plan and lemlist includes lemwarm on all plans, while Woodpecker includes four warm-ups and charges $5 for each extra account. Warm-up helps, but it does not replace authentication and a clean list.
Do I need a CRM if I use Instantly?
Once you have open opportunities, yes. A sender tells you who replied; a CRM keeps the opportunity, the next step and the history of calls and messages. With two tools, someone copies replies across by hand or with an integration. A CRM with prospecting built in removes that step because the sequence and the opportunity share one record.
The CRM with prospecting built in
GTM Flow brings the CRM, cold email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and calls into one system, with AI that tells you what to do next. Early access for founders and small sales teams. See how it works
