GTM Flow vs Close: two CRMs for founders and small sales teams, compared honestly

Close and GTM Flow are both CRMs for founders and small teams who sell by talking to people. Close is the better choice if you live on the phone, want a power or predictive dialer, SMS, an AI voice agent or Outlook, and need to buy today. GTM Flow is the better choice if LinkedIn and WhatsApp are part of your outreach and you want them in the same sequence as email and calls. GTM Flow is in early access.

GTM Flow vs Close at a glance

Close is a mature sales CRM, founded in 2013, built around calling, email and SMS, with sequences on its Growth plan at $99 a seat a month billed annually. GTM Flow is a newer CRM with the prospecting inside: email, LinkedIn steps, WhatsApp and calls in one sequence. It is in early access, at a planned €39 to €149 per seat.

A note on transparency. This comparison is written by the GTM Flow team, so read it knowing one of the two products is ours. Everything we say about Close comes from its own website (close.com and help.close.com), checked on 23 October 2026, and every source is linked at the end. Where Close's site does not say something, we say that instead of guessing.

The real difference: a calling CRM against a multichannel one

Close was built for teams that sell on the phone and by email: built-in calling, dialers, SMS, call coaching and now an AI voice agent. LinkedIn and full WhatsApp sync come from partner tools. GTM Flow was built for teams whose prospects answer on LinkedIn and WhatsApp as often as by email, and puts all four channels in one sequence.

Close describes itself as "a sales CRM built for founders, small businesses, and scaling sales teams" and says more than 11,500 businesses use it. Its strength is the phone: every plan can make and receive calls with automatic logging, Growth adds a power dialer and voicemail drop, and Scale adds a predictive dialer and call coaching. SMS is built in too, which matters in the US more than anywhere else.

On 23 October 2026, Close's pricing page does not mention LinkedIn or WhatsApp. Its integrations page lists third-party LinkedIn tools such as LeadCRM, Linked Helper and Dripify, and its WhatsApp page explains that two-way message sync runs through TimelinesAI, which you pay for separately and which does not yet support WhatsApp Business API accounts. Natively, Close adds a click-to-chat WhatsApp link on the lead.

GTM Flow treats those channels as part of the sequence. One cadence can send email from your own mailboxes, add LinkedIn steps with per-profile limits or as manual tasks, send a WhatsApp message to people who gave you their number and permission, and schedule a call, all on the same record. When someone replies on any channel, the cadence stops and the AI agents create the task. See how prospecting works and how deals are closed.

Pricing: Close's four plans against GTM Flow's three

Close starts lower than GTM Flow: Solo is $9 a month billed annually, for one user. But sequences, bulk email and the power dialer start on Growth, at $99 a seat billed annually or $109 monthly. GTM Flow plans €39 to €149 per seat with sequences on every plan, and calls and AI agents are not metered.

CloseAnnual (per seat a month)MonthlyWhat it adds
Solo$9$19One user, 10,000 leads, calling, email and SMS, 500 AI credits
Essentials$35$49Unlimited leads, open tracking, lead summaries, 1,000 AI credits per seat
Growth$99$109Workflows, bulk email, power dialer, AI email rewrite, 1,500 AI credits per seat
Scale$139$149Predictive dialer, call coaching, custom objects, 2,000 AI credits per seat
Close pricing page, checked on 23 October 2026. Calling and SMS usage is passed through at cost; numbers start at about $1 a month; the Call Assistant add-on is $50 a month per organisation plus $0.02 a minute.

Close's AI credits refresh every month and do not roll over; extra credits can be bought, but the pricing page does not list their price. Calls are billed by the minute on top of the seat. If you want WhatsApp messages synced into Close, TimelinesAI is a separate subscription, and LinkedIn needs another tool too.

GTM Flow plans Solo at €39 for one person, Team at €69 and Scale at €149 per seat a month billed annually (€49, €85 and €179 billed monthly). Every plan has the CRM, sequences on all four channels and the Copilot; plans differ in Copilot requests (500, 1,000 or 3,000 a month) and team features. Sends, LinkedIn steps, calls and agent actions are not counted. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

The honest maths: if you only need a CRM with a phone, Close Solo at $9 and Essentials at $35 are cheaper than anything GTM Flow plans. If you need sequences, the fair comparison is Close Growth at $99 a seat, against GTM Flow Team at a planned €69: for five seats, $495 against €345 a month billed annually, before Close's call minutes and any LinkedIn or WhatsApp tool.

Where Close is the better choice

Close wins if you need to start today, if your team lives on the phone and wants power or predictive dialers, call coaching and SMS, if you want an AI voice agent that calls and qualifies leads, if you use Outlook or need an API, or if you only need a cheap one-seat CRM. It also has over a decade of product and thousands of reviews.

  • You can start today. A 14-day free trial with no credit card, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. GTM Flow has no self-serve sign-up: you join the waitlist.
  • Calling at volume. Power dialer and voicemail drop on Growth, predictive dialer and call coaching on Scale, local numbers from about $1 a month and calls passed through at cost. GTM Flow has browser calls, not dialers.
  • SMS. Sending and receiving texts is on every Close plan, and Growth adds SMS in workflows. GTM Flow has no SMS.
  • Chloe, the AI voice agent. Close says Chloe calls and qualifies leads, books meetings and hands off to a rep, and is included on all plans. Close also says Chloe is currently available in English only.
  • Outlook, Microsoft 365 and an API. Gmail and Outlook email sync, a Microsoft 365 integration, API access with an event log on every plan, and Zapier, Make, Calendly, Zoom, Claude and ChatGPT integrations. GTM Flow has no public API and does not support Microsoft 365.
  • A cheap one-seat CRM. Solo is $9 a month billed annually, against GTM Flow's planned €39, if you do not need sequences.
  • Maturity and social proof. Founded in 2013 and a Y Combinator company; Close says 11,500+ businesses use it and it has 4.7 on G2 from 2,000+ reviews. GTM Flow has no public reviews yet.

Where GTM Flow is the better choice

GTM Flow wins if your prospects answer on LinkedIn and WhatsApp, not only by email and phone, and you want those steps in the same sequence; if you want sequences without paying for a top-tier seat; if you send cold email from several mailboxes; if you do not want minutes and AI credits on the bill; or if you work in Spanish.

  • LinkedIn in the sequence. LinkedIn steps sit next to email, WhatsApp and calls, with a daily cap per profile, a three-week ramp and a limit on pending invitations, and any step can be done by hand. Close has no native LinkedIn integration.
  • WhatsApp without another subscription. WhatsApp is on the record and can be a sequence step with its own daily cap, only for people who gave you their number and permission. Our WhatsApp CRM guide covers the rules. In Close, full WhatsApp sync means paying for TimelinesAI as well.
  • Sequences on every plan. In Close, workflows and bulk email start on Growth at $99 a seat. In GTM Flow they are in Solo too.
  • Cold email from your own mailboxes. Mailbox rotation, per-mailbox daily caps and address checks at enrolment. The B2B cold email guide explains why that matters.
  • Nothing metered. Sends, LinkedIn steps, calls and agent actions are not counted. In Close, calls are billed by the minute and AI runs on monthly credits.
  • Spanish. The interface is in English and Spanish, and the team behind it sells in Spain every day. Close says Chloe works in English for now.
